Top 12 Most and Least Ticketed Cars

police carDoes the type of car you drive determine how likely you are to get a ticket?  Technically, the answer is “No.” because cars don’t get tickets, their drivers do.  After all, if you’re not speeding, you won’t get a speeding ticket, no matter which car you drive.

Perhaps people who get tickets prefer the same type of car?  Something like a Dodge Charger or Subaru Impreza WRX maybe?  Both of those made the Top 12 Most Ticketed list.  But so did the Mazda Tribute and Volkswagen Jetta GL.

And at the other end of the spectrum, the Top 12 Least Ticketed Cars, you have some cars you would have likely guessed like the Buick Enclave but also the less likely Lexus IS350 so what’s going on here?  Maybe there isn’t a correlation or the odd entries are just outliers.

Whatever the cause for these cars ending up on the list, in the end, your driving record has a greater impact on your car insurance rates than what type of car you drive.  Unless you drive a red car…just kidding, the color of your doesn’t matter either..  So slow down, obey the traffic laws, and enjoy your lower car insurance rates.
